Solent Cougars Weekender, July 24th - 26th 2009

As I'm writing this such a long time after it all happened, I will have to summarise the key points as I really can't remember any detail!

• It was lovely, hot sunny weather
• Steve debuted his new 'memory foam' seat, which was very comfortable but attracted many sneering comments due to its rather large size. 
• Had a great time at the do - lots of dancing
• Tina and Steve ended up donning flourescent legwarmers, borrowed from some girls who were wearing 80's fancy dress
• Lofty ended up on backing vocals with Autumn Stone (who were very good) and none of the band seemed to object
• Somebody blew up the portaloos, just as I was returning to the tent, causing sewage to seep all over the grass - lovely!
• Lee was really, really ill the next day, having the mother of all hangovers
• I must remember never to camp ever again!
