Nuneaton Pacemakers 8th Anniversary Do.   May 10th 2003.   Ansley Social Club.

Lee and I came up just for the do as we had to squeeze it between birthday celebrations for my sister and promotion celebrations for Pompey.   It was a great night and I was honoured to get the Furthest Travelled Club trophy which made it worth the 170 mile journey!   The trophy was really cool as well, much better than the usual boring ones.  It was a blown-out piston on a plinth, made by the club themselves.   I didn't take my camera but a kind Coventry Jaguars man sent me these.  The guy that won the Furthest Travelled By Scooter came all the way from Gosport, he must be mad!
